Alaan Launches AI Business Bank Account via ruya's BaaS Infrastructure in UAE

Alaan announced the launch of an AI-native business bank account in the UAE, powered by digital Islamic bank ruya. The product uses ruya's BaaS infrastructure to embed Shariah-compliant account services directly within Alaan's platform. Alaan designed the account to unify three finance workflows: approvals, payments, and accounting into one interface with AI built into each step.

The company framed the launch against a broader thesis that traditional finance tooling fragments work across disconnected systems, forcing teams into manual reconciliation and delayed book closings. ruya provides the regulated banking layer while Alaan controls the customer-facing experience. Alaan operates in the UAE and previously closed one of the largest Series A rounds in the region's history. Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
