TikTok Launches Visa-Powered Creator Card in UK for Content Creators
Visa and TikTok launched a debit card for TikTok LIVE creators in the UK on Apr 21, 2026. The Creator Card gives creators faster access to LIVE earnings and lets them spend income without waiting for payouts to fully clear. It also provides tools to separate business and personal finances.
Visa research found that 49% of UK content creators have experienced late payments, and 41% have turned down opportunities because of cash flow problems. TikTok LIVE creators earn income through virtual gifts, which convert into diamonds and then real money. That income arrives in bursts rather than on a regular schedule, making everyday costs and reinvestment harder to manage.
The card builds on Visa's earlier recognition of creators as small businesses, with the company estimating roughly 200 million creators worldwide.
