ITFC Signs $100M Islamic Trade Finance Facility with Hamkor Bank in Uzbekistan

The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) signed a $100 million syndicated finance facility with JSCB Hamkor Bank, an Uzbekistan-based bank. The deal is the largest standalone Islamic trade finance facility extended to a bank in Uzbekistan. The facility will support small and medium-sized enterprises across the country through Shariah-compliant trade finance.

Financing will also target activities related to women's entrepreneurship, green finance, and food security. ITFC and Hamkor Bank plan to collaborate on improving access to trade finance and fostering private sector growth in Uzbekistan.
