ADP and PNC Bank Launch Embedded Payroll Services for Small Businesses

PNC Bank and ADP announced on Oct 28, 2026, an embedded payroll solution called PNC Payroll by ADP, designed for small businesses. The product connects payroll, HR and benefits with banking, payments and cash management capabilities in a single digital experience. PNC's small business customers can access ADP's payroll and HR tools directly inside their banking platform.

The integration eliminates the need for business owners to switch between separate systems for workforce and financial management. Financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed. The deal pairs one of the largest US banks with the country's dominant payroll provider, embedding workforce services into the core banking interface.
