Yellow Card Raises $40M to Scale Stablecoin Banking Infrastructure
Yellow Card closed a $40 million funding round on Aug 4, 2026, bringing total capital raised above $120 million. Investors in the round include SC Ventures, the venture arm of Standard Chartered, Sony Innovation Fund, Polychain and Blockchain Capital. The company operates stablecoin-based payment infrastructure and plans to use the capital to expand those rails.
Yellow Card has been building out a B2B product set, including Global USD Accounts, that lets businesses hold and move dollars on-chain. The participation of Standard Chartered's venture unit signals growing institutional appetite for stablecoin infrastructure. The round positions Yellow Card to extend its reach across cross-border corridors where dollar access remains constrained.
