Visa and Airwallex Partner to Build Embedded Finance Tools for Freight Platforms

Visa and Lianlian DigiTech completed the first live B2B agentic transaction on Jul 24, 2026, using LoopXPay, Lianlian's AI agent. The agent identified a purchasing requirement, recommended suppliers, compared options, placed an order, and executed payment within one automated workflow. The process operated within pre-defined spending controls and approval parameters set by the business.

LoopXPay has been registered in Visa's Agentic Directory, which allows participants to identify verified AI agents in the payments ecosystem. The directory supports Visa's Trusted Agent Protocol by providing transparency into agent-driven transactions. The two companies are exploring how AI agents could support additional commercial functions, including procurement, advertising optimisation, and B2B platform payments.

Lianlian DigiTech is building AI-native financial infrastructure covering identity verification, transaction authorisation, payment processing, and global fund settlement.
