Utorg Taps Wirex BaaS for Non-Custodial Cards and IBAN Accounts
Wirex and Utorg announced a partnership on Apr 8, 2026, to bring crypto-to-card spending to Utorg's 2M+ users across 190+ countries. Wirex BaaS provides non-custodial card issuance, EUR and USD IBAN accounts, and real-time crypto-to-fiat conversion through a single API integration. The cards support Apple Pay and Google Pay, and IBANs connect to SEPA Instant and Faster Payments across 30+ countries.
At checkout, crypto balances convert to fiat in real time with no prefunding requirements. Utorg, an Estonia-founded, EU-regulated fintech, built its user base around zero-fee crypto purchases and self-custodial wallets. The Wirex BaaS layer adds spending capability at 80M+ merchants in 130 countries without requiring Utorg to coordinate separate providers for issuing, tokenisation, banking rails, and conversion.
