Unit Expands Embedded Finance Platform With Cards, ACH, and Lending Features

Throughout 2022, Unit significantly expanded its embedded finance platform with a suite of new features announced in its year-end summary. Key additions included charge card issuing capabilities, same-day ACH processing, recurring payment functionality, early payment access for end users, and programmatic ATM authorization controls. Unit highlighted embedded lending as a key strategic growth area for the platform going forward.

The company also announced plans to release white-label UI components in Q1 2023, which would allow fintech clients to deploy banking features with less custom front-end development. These expansions broaden Unit's BaaS offering across accounts, cards, payments, and lending verticals. Financial performance details were not disclosed.

The platform enhancements position Unit to capture more of the embedded finance value chain as demand from non-financial brands seeking banking capabilities continues to grow.
