NORD/LB Expands Finastra Partnership With Loan IQ Nexus and Loan Portal

Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale (NORD/LB) announced on May 19, 2026, that it will add Finastra's Loan IQ Nexus integration layer and Loan Portal to its technology stack. The bank already uses Finastra's Loan IQ platform for corporate and syndicated lending. Loan IQ Nexus acts as a digital bridge linking NORD/LB's systems, automating data flows that previously required manual re-entry.

Loan Portal gives corporate clients a secure online hub to apply for loans, upload documents, and track progress. Philip Brand, responsible for lending applications at NORD/LB, said the additions will "reduce barriers, making lending easier for everyone." Implementation is underway, with go-live anticipated within two years. NORD/LB's specialty areas include renewable energy, commercial real estate, and specialized finance.
