Sturgis Bank Partners with MANTL to Modernize Account Opening Across Channels

Sturgis Bank selected MANTL, an Alkami Technology solution team, to modernize account opening for retail and business customers across online, in-branch, and field channels. The Michigan-based community bank operates 16 branches. MANTL's omnichannel platform will let retail customers open deposit accounts in under five minutes online and under 10 minutes in-branch.

Businesses of all sizes will be able to open deposit accounts through a consistent experience regardless of location. The platform automates more than 85% of application decisions, covering KYC, AML, and BSA checks as well as product setup, funding, and core booking. MANTL will also support Sturgis Bank's planned "Banking Brought to You" initiative, which uses QR codes, private application links, and real-time account opening to onboard businesses outside branch locations.

Alkami announced the partnership on May 12, 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.
