Palawan Group and AltPayNet Partner to Expand International Remittance Infrastructure

Palawan Group of Companies and AltPayNet formalized a partnership on Oct 29, 2026, to strengthen access to international remittance infrastructure services. Under the agreement, beneficiaries can receive funds digitally through PalawanPay or over the counter at more than 3,800 Palawan Express Pera Padala branches across the Philippines. AltPayNet provides cross-border remittance rail technology, while Palawan Group contributes its nationwide physical and digital distribution network.

The partnership reflects Palawan Group's "bricktech" model, combining physical branches with its digital wallet platform. Financial terms were not disclosed.
