OnDeck's ODX Partners with Investors Bank for Digital Small Business Lending

OnDeck's ODX platform, a white-label digital lending solution, entered a partnership with Investors Bank to enable digital small business loan origination. ODX provides the technology infrastructure allowing banks to offer fast, digital-first lending experiences to small business customers without building proprietary systems. Investors Bank, a regional bank, leveraged ODX to modernize its SME lending capabilities and compete with fintech lenders.

The partnership exemplifies the BaaS model where a technology provider supplies core lending infrastructure to a chartered bank. ODX handles the digital origination workflow while Investors Bank retains the customer relationship and balance sheet lending. Financial terms of the arrangement were not publicly disclosed.

The deal reflects growing demand from community and regional banks for embedded fintech solutions to serve small business borrowers more efficiently.
