Nexi Partners with Meniga to Embed White-Label PFM in Partner Bank Apps

On September 15, 2020, Nexi, Italy's leading PayTech company, announced a partnership with Meniga, a specialist in white-label digital banking solutions. Under the agreement, Meniga's personal financial management (PFM) and business financial management (BFM) tools will be integrated into the mobile and web banking apps of Nexi's partner banks. The integration is designed to enhance the digital banking experience for both individual consumers and small businesses, leveraging enriched transaction data under PSD2 open banking regulations.

Meniga's technology enables banks to offer features such as spending insights, budgeting tools, and cash flow management without developing these capabilities internally. The partnership is branded under the Nexi Open framework, positioning Nexi as an embedded finance enabler for its network of bank partners. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The deal underscores the growing role of white-label fintech providers in helping traditional banks modernize their digital offerings at scale.
