Nayax Applies for Connecticut Innovation Bank Charter

Nayax applied on Aug 7, 2026, to establish Nayax America Bank as a non-depository institution under Connecticut's Innovation Bank framework. The proposed bank would be headquartered in Fairfield County and sit under Nayax USA Holdings, a newly formed US holding company. Carly Furman, CEO of Nayax North America, has been named proposed CEO of the bank.

If chartered, the bank would offer corporate cards, controlled-spend programmes, merchant cash advances and equipment financing. It would not accept deposits, offer consumer products or operate physical branches. Separately, Nayax launched Yellow Account, a US deposit service for business customers, with Adyen as the sponsoring bank holding the underlying balances.

North America accounts for about 40% of Nayax's global revenue and is its largest market.
