Mural Raises $28M Total Including $15M Series A Led by Tether

Mural, a fintech infrastructure company founded by former Palantir engineers, announced on Oct 20, 2026 the completion of a $15 million Series A round led by Tether. North Island Ventures and existing investors also participated, bringing total funding to $28 million. Mural provides a single system of record for accounts, payments, identity, and compliance that fintechs and platforms use to build financial products.

Customers including Deel, Opera, and Axexo run payroll and remittance workflows on Mural's rails, letting end users hold dollars, stablecoins, and local currency in unified accounts. Since launching its API in 2025, Mural has processed $2.1 billion in payment volume across 128 countries, with 2026 volume running at nearly six times the 2025 total. The new capital will fund global expansion and the regulatory and payments infrastructure needed to scale agentic finance use cases.
