InvestiFi Raises $20M to Expand Embedded Investing for Credit Unions
InvestiFi, a Credit Union Service Organization based in Dover, Del., raised $20 million in funding announced on Jul 29, 2026. Vibe Credit Union led the round. BankTech Ventures, Navari (formerly CUSG), Idaho Central Credit Union, United Financial Credit Union, Coastal Credit Union, Mid Minnesota Credit Union, Truity Credit Union, and Southpoint Credit Union also participated.
The company's platform lets credit unions and community banks offer digital investing directly within online banking, including fractional stock and ETF trading, guided investing, IRAs, and cryptocurrency. InvestiFi has grown from 4 clients in 2024 to more than 60 signed institutions as of Jul 2026. Its patent-pending flow of funds allows account holders to invest directly from checking or savings accounts without transferring money to external brokerages.
The capital will fund platform expansion and drive adoption across more financial institutions.
- Credit unions are increasingly investing in embedded finance to compete with larger banks and fintechs on wealth management offerings
- The round validates the embedded investing niche within the broader BaaS landscape, particularly for community financial institutions
