Hyperlayer Raises £19.5M Series A2 for Programmable Banking at £195M Valuation

Hyperlayer, a UK-based programmable-banking infrastructure company, raised £19.5 million on Oct 21, 2026. Existing investors backed the round, their second commitment in 12 months. The raise brings total funding to £50 million since October 2025.

Hyperlayer's platform helps banks modernise without replacing core systems. The company has also joined Mastercard's Engage and Product Express programmes to help banks launch programmable accounts faster. In July 2026, Hyperlayer appointed Shantanu Lodh as Head of AI.

The company was named in the inaugural Barclays AI:100 Report in May 2026, recognising it among 100 of the UK's high-growth AI companies.
