Green SM Laos and Umoney Sign Payment System Integration Agreement

Green SM Laos and Star Fintech Sole Co., Ltd (Umoney) signed a Payment System Integration Agreement on Apr 24, 2026, in Vientiane. Alongside it, the two companies executed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement to develop a combined digital finance and smart mobility ecosystem in Laos. Under the deal, Umoney becomes a direct payment method within the Green SM ride-hailing app.

Umoney users will also be able to access Green SM mobility services from inside the Umoney platform through an embedded integration. Ride-hailing fares will be processed instantly via the Umoney e-wallet upon trip completion, replacing manual bank transfers. Green SM will supply electric ride-hailing, limo, and airport transfer services to Umoney's enterprise and individual customers.

Umoney will develop tailored financial tools for Green SM drivers, including e-wallet services, income disbursement, and cash flow management. Financial terms were not disclosed.
