Flipkart Launches Pay Later Embedded Credit With PayU Finance

Flipkart Group and PayU Finance launched Flipkart Pay Later on Jul 30, 2026, embedding credit options directly into the checkout flow across Flipkart, Myntra, and Flipkart Minutes. The product offers three repayment paths: a pay-later window of up to 30 days for everyday purchases, a pay-in-3 installment split, and EMI plans from 3 to 12 months for higher-value categories such as mobiles, electronics, appliances, and furniture. PayU Finance, the NBFC arm of PayU, serves as the licensed lender.

Flipkart Finance manages customer relationships and applies credit intelligence drawn from commerce data to speed up underwriting. Additional lending partners are planned as the programme scales. Financial terms were not disclosed.
