First Bank Partners with FintechOS to Launch Digital Mortgage Channel

First Bank engaged FintechOS in May 2020 to develop a fully digital self-service mortgage acquisition channel, which launched within six months. The platform automates authorization and cash delivery processes, dramatically reducing approval times by 89% and boosting conversion rates to 25%. FintechOS provided its low-code digital banking platform, enabling First Bank to deploy the solution without major internal technology investment.

The initiative served as a proof-of-concept for digital self-service banking, with plans to extend the approach to consumer loans. The partnership reflects the broader embedded finance trend accelerated by COVID-19, where banks leverage fintech infrastructure to deliver seamless digital customer experiences.
