Finn AI Provides White-Label AI Chatbot Platform to Banks Including BMO

Finn AI offered a white-label conversational AI platform designed specifically for banks and credit unions, enabling institutions to deploy AI-powered virtual assistants under their own branding. Partner banks including ATB Financial and BMO used the platform to provide customers with features such as budget tracking, spending analysis, automatic bill payments, and personalized financial alerts. Finn AI had launched a personal banking chatbot with BMO in March 2018 and collaborated with Visa Canada by June 2018.

The platform was distributed through multiple channels including Facebook Messenger, Twitter, and the Temenos Marketplace. This model exemplified the broader trend of fintech-bank partnerships over competition, as highlighted by the 2018 KPMG Fintech100 report which noted US$52 billion in venture capital flowing into fintech. Finn AI's approach allowed banks to modernize customer engagement without building AI capabilities in-house.
