ClearBank Secures MiCA Approval to Offer Stablecoin Services

ClearBank announced on Oct 27, 2025, that it signed a strategic framework agreement with a subsidiary of Circle Internet Group (NYSE: CRCL) to collaborate across the European market. The initial focus is expanding access to Circle's MiCA-compliant stablecoins, USDC and EURC, through Circle Mint in Europe. ClearBank also plans to become one of the first European banks to join Circle Payments Network (CPN), connecting its cloud-native banking platform to Circle's stablecoin settlement layer.

The integration is designed to enable clients to move value globally with near-instant speed and blockchain transparency. ClearBank and Circle are exploring additional use cases, including stablecoin-based treasury solutions and tokenized asset settlement. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
