Capacity Acquires DevRefactory to Expand Embedded Middleware and AI Capabilities

On Apr 28, 2026, Capacity completed its acquisition of DevRefactory, a customer experience software platform focused on omnichannel journey orchestration, embedded middleware, and integrated managed services. Hyde Park Capital served as exclusive investment banker to DevRefactory, and Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick provided legal counsel. DevRefactory's platform orchestrates customer interactions across voice, chat, web, and social channels, centralizing knowledge and powering self-service and chatbot experiences.

James Ramey, co-founder of DevRefactory, said the deal will expand the company's ability to deliver omnichannel AI experiences at scale through Capacity's platform and its reach across more than 20,000 customers worldwide. Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction was announced from Tampa, Fla.
