Bank of Georgia Launches AI-Powered Personal Finance Tool with Strands

Bank of Georgia announced the launch of MBank, an AI-powered personal finance management (PFM) tool, on November 14, 2019. The solution was developed in partnership with Strands, a fintech specializing in AI-driven financial management technology. MBank embeds intelligent spending tracking, automatic transaction categorization, and personalized financial recommendations directly into the bank's digital banking platform.

This marks the first deployment of such a tool in the Caucasus region, positioning Bank of Georgia as a digital banking leader in the area. The embedded PFM approach aligns with broader industry trends of integrating fintech capabilities natively into banking apps to enhance customer engagement and retention. No financial terms of the partnership were publicly disclosed.
