ACI Worldwide Unifies Eight U.S. Payment Rails on Cloud-Native Platform

On Apr 23, 2026, ACI Worldwide announced ACI Connetic, a cloud-native platform unifying eight U.S. payment networks. The platform connects to Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT, The Clearing House RTP, Zelle, and FedNow. Stablecoin and tokenized-deposit rails are included at launch.

ACI noted that 58% of instant-payment-enabled banks now run both FedNow and RTP, creating operational strain from managing parallel rails on separate systems. Connetic targets that complexity by consolidating connectivity onto one infrastructure. The launch follows ACI's Mar 04, 2026 release of ACI Connetic for Cards, which extended the platform into card issuing, acquiring, and ATM processing.

No financial terms for the expansion were disclosed.
