Goldman Sachs launched its Transaction Banking Platform on September 23, 2020, powered by technology from Volante Technologies. The cloud-native, API-enabled service provides corporate clients with payments processing across U.S. wires, ACH, and SWIFT rails, along with virtual accounts, liquidity management, and foreign exchange capabilities. Volante Technologies contributed its payments and financial messaging infrastructure to enable the platform's multi-rail processing.

Goldman Sachs positioned the platform as a modern alternative to legacy corporate banking services, targeting enterprise treasury and cash management needs. Notably, Volante itself became a client of the Transaction Banking Platform, demonstrating confidence in the jointly built infrastructure. The launch represents Goldman Sachs' significant push into transaction banking, leveraging BaaS-style API-first architecture to compete with established players in corporate payments and treasury services.
