Upvest Raises $42M Series B for Investment Infrastructure API
Upvest, a Berlin-based fintech infrastructure provider, announced a $42 million Series B funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Other investors in the round included Earlybird, ABN AMRO Ventures, Notion Capital, Partech, 10x Group, and Speedinvest. Upvest offers a plug-and-play API and core banking system that allows neobanks, online brokers, and established banking players to integrate investment capabilities.
The platform aims to significantly reduce infrastructure development costs and deployment time for financial services firms seeking to embed investment products. The participation of ABN AMRO Ventures signals interest from traditional banking players in the embedded finance infrastructure space. The funding will support Upvest's continued development and expansion of its API-based investment infrastructure platform across Europe.
