TransPecos Banks Launches Credit Card Program with Episode Six

TransPecos Banks, a Texas-based bank, launched a credit card program on April 12, 2023, in partnership with fintech infrastructure provider Episode Six (E6). The bank deployed E6's E6Issuing and E6Wallet products, both built on the Tritium platform, to enable card issuing, processing, and virtual account ledger services for sponsoring customer card programs. The partnership provides flexible support for various card types, including multi-currency transactions and specialized products such as credit cards designed for new medical school graduates.

Notably, the solution does not require custom mobile apps, reducing deployment complexity. TransPecos' CTO cited E6's integrated tech stack and bank sponsorship model as key factors enabling rapid deployment and helping the bank move beyond legacy system limitations. The arrangement positions TransPecos as a sponsor bank capable of supporting diverse embedded finance use cases through E6's modern infrastructure.
