Thread Bank Selects Finxact from Fiserv for Embedded Banking

Thread Bank announced the selection of Finxact from Fiserv as its core banking platform, aiming to serve as a model for community banks pursuing embedded banking strategies. Finxact's API-first architecture will enable Thread Bank to deliver modern, programmable banking services. The platform will be integrated with Infinant's Interlace Platform to provide a unified user interface spanning both embedded and core banking capabilities, as well as payment processing.

This partnership positions Thread Bank to offer fintechs and non-bank brands access to regulated banking infrastructure through a community bank model. The deal highlights the growing trend of smaller banks leveraging BaaS technology stacks to compete with larger institutions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
