The collaboration enables fintech companies and financial institutions to develop open banking-enabled services using a combined, cost-effective technology stack. SDK.finance contributes its core banking and financial product development platform, while Salt Edge provides its open banking API connectivity, account information, and payment initiation capabilities.

The integrated solution is primarily targeted at the EU market, where PSD2 regulation mandates open banking compliance. By combining forces, the two companies aim to reduce the time and cost for fintechs and banks to launch compliant open banking products. The partnership reflects growing demand in Europe for turnkey infrastructure that allows financial service providers to meet regulatory requirements while delivering modern digital experiences.
