Palm Receives Strategic Investment from Amex Ventures for Business Identity APIs

Palm, a business identity infrastructure platform, announced an investment from Amex Ventures, the corporate venture capital group of American Express. The funding will support Palm's product development, partner integrations, and the expansion of its API-driven identity network across financial services and vertical SaaS platforms. Palm connects to authoritative data sources across all 50 states and the IRS, combining verification, compliance automation, and continuous monitoring into a single identity service.

The platform automates annual reports, registered agent services, and certain regulatory filings, refreshing a business's identity record each time those obligations are completed. For financial institutions and fintech platforms, Palm replaces point-in-time verification with event-driven monitoring tied to actual registry changes. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
