Oportun and Column N.A. Partner to Originate Unsecured Personal Loans

Oportun Financial Corporation announced a lending partnership with Column N.A. on Jul 09, 2026. Under the arrangement, Column will originate unsecured personal loans through Oportun's personal loan program. Oportun will provide the consumer-facing platform, handling marketing, servicing, and program-support capabilities.

Column retains oversight of the program and ensures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Column N.A. is a nationally chartered, FDIC-member bank that provides regulated financial infrastructure for technology companies. It was founded in 2019 by Plaid co-founder William Hockey and counts Brex, Bilt, Wise, and Mercury among its clients.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
