MTN MoMo Uganda and Centenary Bank Reaffirm Digital Financial Services Partnership

MTN MoMo Uganda and Centenary Bank reaffirmed their partnership during a leadership engagement at MTN Uganda's head office on Aug 19, 2026. The meeting was led by MTN Uganda Managing Director Phrase Lubega and brought together senior executives from both organizations. Centenary Bank's outgoing Managing Director, Dr Fabian Kasi, used the occasion to introduce his successor, Byekwaso Godfrey, ahead of the bank's leadership transition.

Both institutions committed to continued collaboration within Uganda's financial services ecosystem. Their cooperation focuses on strengthening networks and services for customers, merchants, and agents across the country. The partners also emphasized improving access to digital financial services for Ugandans.
