MoneyLion Acquires Even Financial for $440 Million

On December 20, 2021, MoneyLion announced its acquisition of Even Financial at an enterprise value of approximately $440 million. Even Financial operates an enterprise marketplace platform that connects consumers with personalized financial product offers — including loans, insurance, and credit cards — embedded within third-party digital experiences. The acquisition gives MoneyLion access to Even Financial's network of over 500 enterprise partners and its API-driven embedded finance infrastructure.

MoneyLion contributes its consumer-facing digital finance platform, while Even Financial adds B2B embedded distribution technology. For customers and partners, the combined entity offers a broader suite of embedded financial products and enhanced monetization tools for publishers and fintechs. The deal was reported at a 6.0x-range revenue multiple, consistent with fintech M&A valuations at the time.

The transaction solidifies MoneyLion's ambitions as a vertically integrated consumer finance and embedded finance platform.
