Luma Financial Technologies Launches Open Architecture Structured Products Platform

On July 31, 2018, Luma Financial Technologies announced the launch of its open architecture online platform for structured products and annuities. The platform was developed in partnership with Navian Capital, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Morgan Stanley. Luma provides an independent multi-issuer solution that enables any distributor to access and compare structured products across multiple issuers electronically.

The platform aims to bring greater transparency and efficiency to the structured products market, which had traditionally relied on less streamlined distribution methods. By partnering with major Wall Street banks, Luma positioned itself as a neutral marketplace connecting product manufacturers with financial advisors and distributors.
