Housing Bank Selects ProgressSoft Payments Hub to Upgrade Payment Infrastructure
Housing Bank for Trade and Finance, a Jordan-based commercial bank, selected local fintech ProgressSoft to upgrade its payments network using the Payments Hub Platform. The platform will streamline local and international payment corridors, delivering faster settlement times, improved tracking, and greater transparency. The integration also aligns Housing Bank with global payment standards including Swift GPI and CBPR+.
Housing Bank first partnered with ProgressSoft in 1993 for its Signature Verification Solution, then upgraded to a web version in 2006. The relationship expanded in 2015 with an automated signature verification rollout and again in 2023 when ProgressSoft provided corporate cash management services. Originally a home financing institution founded in 1973, Housing Bank became a fully authorised commercial bank in 1997 and now operates across eight countries.
