Global Processing Services Raises Over $300M for Global Expansion

Global Processing Services (GPS), a leading API-first payment technology platform, announced it raised over $300 million from Advent International and Viking Global Investors. GPS serves as critical payments infrastructure for some of the world's most prominent fintechs, including Revolut, Curve, Starling Bank, and Zilch. The platform currently operates across 48 countries spanning Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.

The substantial capital injection will be used to accelerate technology investments and expand the company's global footprint further. GPS's API-first approach enables fintechs and financial institutions to rapidly deploy card programs and payment solutions. The investment from major private equity firm Advent International and hedge fund Viking Global Investors reflects growing institutional investor interest in payments infrastructure providers.

The round was one of the largest fintech infrastructure raises of October 2021, positioning GPS for continued growth in the embedded finance ecosystem.
