First Horizon Launches ClearPath Fast Payments via Interchecks White-Label Platform
On September 14, 2020, First Horizon Bank announced the launch of ClearPath Fast Payments, a new instant payments platform built in partnership with Interchecks. Interchecks provides a white-label payout platform that banks can integrate via API or deploy as a turnkey portal branded as their own. The platform supports multiple disbursement methods including Visa Direct, ACH transfers, and physical checks, giving First Horizon's treasury clients flexible real-time payment options.
By leveraging Interchecks' technology, First Horizon avoids building proprietary instant payment rails while still offering the service under its own brand. The partnership reflects a broader trend of banks adopting embedded fintech solutions to modernize their treasury and commercial banking offerings. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The platform was made available to First Horizon's commercial and treasury management clients upon launch.
