FinWise Bank Signs BIN Sponsorship Deal with Vera for Consumer Credit Card Program

On April 14, 2026, FinWise Bancorp (NASDAQ: FINW) announced that its subsidiary FinWise Bank has signed a BIN sponsorship agreement with Vera, Inc. to launch an unsecured consumer credit card program. Under the arrangement, FinWise Bank serves as the BIN sponsor providing regulatory and banking infrastructure, while Vera acts as program manager and will purchase receivables from the bank. The credit card program targets prime and near-prime U.S. consumers and offers both physical and digital cards with no annual fee and three customizable rewards modes based on user spending patterns.

The program is built on Zeta's Tachyon cloud-native card processing platform, originating from FinWise's existing partnership with Zeta. Vera is led by CEO Sandeep Sachdeva, who brings over 18 years of experience from Capital One's card businesses. FinWise Chief Fintech Officer Sarah Grotta highlighted the deal as an expansion of the bank's BIN sponsorship capabilities, while Sachdeva praised FinWise's expertise and regulatory strength.
