DIFC and Accenture Partner to Expand FinTech Hive Accelerator Globally

Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Accenture announced a strategic agreement in May 2018 to further cement FinTech Hive at DIFC's position as a leading fintech accelerator globally. FinTech Hive, launched at DIFC, serves as a platform connecting fintech startups with established financial institutions in the MENA region. Under the partnership, Accenture contributes its global consulting and technology capabilities to support the accelerator's programs and participating startups.

The agreement strengthens DIFC's role as a financial innovation hub, facilitating bank-fintech collaborations and embedded finance development in the Middle East. The accelerator model enables traditional banks and financial institutions to discover and integrate fintech solutions into their operations. This partnership represents the growing institutional support for fintech ecosystems in the MENA region, where banking-as-a-service and embedded finance are emerging priorities.
