Fasspay Gains Bank Negara Malaysia Approval to Expand White-Label E-Wallet
Fasspay received regulatory approval from Bank Negara Malaysia to support new features on its white-label e-wallet service. The approval increased individual transaction limits to RM10,000 and expanded Fasspay's product capabilities significantly. Fasspay can now issue physical Visa-branded prepaid cards linked to e-wallet applications, alongside virtual cards and supplementary account features.
The company operates as one of the first regulated white-label e-wallet providers in Malaysia, serving a network of four e-wallet partners. This positions Fasspay as a key BaaS infrastructure layer in the Malaysian digital payments ecosystem, enabling non-bank brands to offer compliant financial products. The expanded capabilities allow Fasspay's partners to offer a more comprehensive suite of payment and card services to their end users.
