EFICYENT and IME Partner to Open Nepal Cross-Border Payments Corridor
EFICYENT, a cross-border payments and financial infrastructure platform, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IME Limited on Jun 29, 2026 to launch a Nepal remittance corridor. The announcement was made on Jul 13, 2026. IME Limited is a Nepal Rastra Bank-licensed remittance company that has operated since 2001.
Under the partnership, customers and partners across EFICYENT's global network can send money directly to recipients in Nepal through bank account deposits and digital wallet transfers. Both transaction types are credited in real time. EFICYENT operates through regulated entities and licensed partners spanning eight jurisdictions.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
