DSP Finance Acquires Fintech Firm VoltMoney in Secured Lending Deal

DSP Group announced on Aug 19, 2026, that its NBFC arm, DSP Finance, acquired Salter Technologies Pvt. Ltd., the parent entity of Volt Money. The deal brings together two complementary businesses in secured lending.

Volt Money's platform lets borrowers access funds against mutual fund holdings without redeeming their investments. DSP Finance gains Volt Money's technology infrastructure and customer experience capabilities alongside its own balance sheet strength and risk management framework. The combination is intended to scale digital lending against financial assets and serve customers across the mutual fund and wealth management ecosystem in India.

DSP Finance has been expanding its digital footprint since Jul 01, 2024. Financial terms were not disclosed.
