Community Bank Bangladesh and SplitPay Sign MoU for Student Financing

Community Bank Bangladesh PLC and SplitPay Bangladesh Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Aug 14, 2026, to expand access to student financing across Bangladesh. Under the agreement, Community Bank plans to introduce a dedicated student financing facility covering tuition, admission fees, hostel costs, examination fees and other approved academic expenses. The two organisations will use digital platforms and technology to deliver the financing experience.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Mohammed Emtiaz Uddin, Managing Director of Community Bank Bangladesh, and Jubair Mahmud Pulock, Managing Director of SplitPay Bangladesh. Senior officials from both organisations attended, along with representatives from North South University and Independent University, Bangladesh. Financial terms and a rollout timeline were not disclosed.
