Brightwell Integrates ReadyRemit With Q2 Digital Banking Platform

On November 21, 2024, Brightwell announced the integration of its ReadyRemit cross-border payment solution with Q2's digital banking platform through the Q2 Partner Accelerator program. The partnership allows financial institutions using Q2's platform to embed white-label remittance capabilities directly into their existing digital banking apps. Brightwell contributes its ReadyRemit SDK, which handles cross-border payment rails, while Q2 provides the digital banking infrastructure used by hundreds of banks and credit unions.

For end customers, this means they can initiate international remittances without leaving their primary banking app. The pre-integrated SDK approach significantly reduces implementation time for financial institutions. This deal reflects the growing trend of banks seeking plug-and-play embedded finance modules to compete with standalone remittance fintechs.
