Boxo and Nium Launch White-Label Remittance Platform via SDK

Boxo and Nium announced a partnership to deliver a white-label remittance platform designed for easy integration into mobile applications via an SDK. Announced around the Singapore Fintech Festival 2024 in November, the collaboration combines Boxo's super-app infrastructure expertise with Nium's global payment rails and licensing capabilities. App developers can embed cross-border money transfer functionality without building payment infrastructure from scratch.

The SDK approach is designed to be cost-effective and reduce time-to-market for companies looking to add financial services. For end users, the integration enables seamless international remittances without leaving their preferred app. The partnership reflects growing demand in APAC for embedded finance solutions within non-financial apps.

No financial terms of the deal were disclosed. The initiative positions both companies to capture the growing embedded remittance market across Southeast Asia and beyond.
