Bolt Group Acquires Australian Payments App Beem for Super-App Push

Bolt Group announced the acquisition of Beem, an Australian consumer payments application, as part of its strategy to create a comprehensive financial super-app. Following the acquisition, Bolt plans to evolve Beem into an everyday money app that combines payments, transaction and savings accounts, multi-currency services, and investing capabilities. The expanded platform is expected to launch by the end of June 2026.

Beem brings an established Australian consumer base and payments infrastructure, while Bolt contributes its broader fintech platform and international reach. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The deal reflects the broader industry trend of consolidating multiple embedded financial services into unified consumer platforms.

For customers, this means access to a single app for payments, banking, FX, and investment services.
