BMO Harris Bank Partners with SpringFour for Financial Wellness Tools

BMO Harris Bank officially announced on August 7, 2018 the launch of its partnership with SpringFour, a financial wellness fintech selected as one of three winners from the 2017 cohort of the BMO Harris/1871 FinTech Partnership program. SpringFour's platform, which connects consumers with local nonprofit and financial assistance resources, was integrated directly into the bank's website at bmoharris.com/findhelp. The platform enables customers experiencing financial hardship to search for vetted assistance resources by zip code.

SpringFour, a Certified B Corporation, provides nationwide coverage with over 11,000 vetted resources and serves more than 1 million referrals annually through call center and direct-to-consumer channels. Ernie Johannson, Group Head of U.S. Personal and Business Banking at BMO Harris, highlighted the partnership as a step to enhance financial support for customers.

The BMO Harris/1871 FinTech Partnership program, in its second year by 2018, mentors startups to align with BMO's digital priorities and build complementary partnerships. No financial terms of the partnership were disclosed.
