Atomic Integrates Deposit Plugin With Jack Henry's Banno Digital Banking Platform
On December 1, 2022, Atomic announced the full integration of its Deposit plugin with Jack Henry's Banno digital banking platform, following a soft launch in July 2022. The integration allows banks and credit unions using Banno to enable their customers to quickly set up or switch direct deposits directly within their mobile or online banking apps. Atomic's technology leverages Jack Henry's Digital Toolkit APIs to embed the deposit switching functionality natively into the banking experience.
The collaboration addresses a critical challenge for community banks and credit unions: acquiring and retaining primary banking relationships by reducing friction in direct deposit enrollment. By making it easy for customers to redirect their paychecks, the integration helps smaller financial institutions compete with larger banks and neobanks. Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
The announcement was distributed via Business Wire, indicating an official company press release.
