Afriex Partners with Global Innovations Bank for B2B Payments Settlement

Afriex, a cross-border payments infrastructure company, announced a sponsor and settlement banking partnership with Global Innovations Bank (GIB) on Aug 17, 2026. The relationship underpins Afriex's B2B PaymentsAPI product with expanded banking rails. Afriex processes more than $600 million in annual payment volume.

The partnership expands Afriex's global banking network and broadens its regulatory coverage. Settlement for Afriex's payment flows is expected to accelerate under the new arrangement. Financial terms were not disclosed.
